These strings, custom gauged by Billy Sheehan, provide the time tested, world famous, Rotosound Swing Bass set with two special advantages.

Billy says

A slightly lighter G (0.043³) this provides a more even string to string tension across the neck and makes bending easier.

A heavier E string (0.110³) which again provides a more even string to string tension,eliminating string flap or rattle and makes for a tighter low end with increased mass for more volume in the lower register.

The (0.110³) gauge also facilitates tuning down to a low D without the string bottoming out or loss of intonation.
